Can my 2005 Nissan Pathfinder Tow?
I need to tow a trailer so I can Pick up some bulk items. I know my 05 Nissan Pathfinder has a place to connect the trailer. I called uhaul to pick up a trailer and they told me i need a ball mount. I know I needed that. But then they said do I have the electric wiring to hook the trailer turn signal and brake lights to that of my car. I have no idea where to find this or even if it is there?!
Up to 7500 lbs of towing is what you can do. Trailer wiring harness and relays need to be added to make trailer lights work. Best I can say is visit your Nissan Dealer. The two realys are needed on a jumper harness in the trailer kit under the passengers side kick panel and trailer harness plugs in above the rear tow hook left rear under the truck. If you start serious towing you might invest in attitional transmission cooler added ahead of the radatior. And for towing maxium weight add a electric brake control.
